which was spread, we also saw many mountains which stood meatly and also trees
which were very tall.
We arrived in
Cangkuang temple at 11:00 for local time. To arrive the location of the temple,
we had to across a lake in taking getek (a small tradisional boat made from
bamboo) for about 10-15 minutes. Cangkuang temple was found in the 8th
century. Around the temple there were people’s housing which is called Pulo
village. There were only 6 houses. Old people said that the houses couldn’t be
added and the male couldn’t stayed in this place so the male just could see the
temple but can’t lived here. In 1 house might be stayed one person. If she
died, she could be replaced by his daughter. The person who loved there was
descendent of Eyang Embah Dalem Arif Muhammad.
Beside the temple,
there was a cementery of Eyang Embah Dalem Arif Muhammad. The temple keeper
said that Eyang Embah Dalem Arif Muhammad was one of the people from majapahit
kingdom who spread islam religion in Java Island. He was asked to fight VOC. He
didn’t comeback because he was afraid of Netherlands they wanted to kill him. After

lot of plantations of corn, cassava, and also sesim. Sesim is a kind of a
vegetable that people usually used for salty, fresh vegetable. There are a lot
of sesim farmers who were harvesting their sesim. We were lucky to see this farmers
with their sesim.

many people sold leather as they were handcraft. Unfortunetly, we couldn’t see
